Who we are

Hako Studio is an independent software studio based in Peru that makes Koma and other apps. You can reach us at hakostudio.contacto@gmail.com.

The service

Koma translates text you select or the area of a page you mark, using AI. Translations can contain mistakes: use them to follow what you read, not for anything where accuracy is critical. The service is provided “as is”.

Plans and limits

Koma has a free plan and a paid plan (Koma Pro), each with a daily number of translations. We may adjust the limits to keep the service sustainable; paid plans will be told in advance about changes that reduce them.

Payments and subscriptions

Koma Pro is sold by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, and its terms apply to the purchase. Prices are in US dollars, plus the taxes that apply where you live. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; you can cancel anytime from “Manage subscription”, and you keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Koma to break the law, to get around its limits (for example with scripts or fake installations), or to overload or attack the service. Koma helps you read what you are viewing; respect the rights of the authors and sites whose works you read.

Changes and availability

We may change or improve Koma, or stop offering it. If we stop offering Koma Pro, we will cancel active subscriptions and refund the unused part of the current period.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Hako Studio is not liable for indirect damages or for losses arising from the use of translations. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and its date. Important changes for paying users will be announced in advance.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Peru.
